And of course this is the Les Paul model. The body is made of Walnut. Also a project for myself, and when I finish the two I will take them to fairs to show them to the public. It will be beautiful totally carved and oiled, or sprayed with a finish or buffed with a wax. It's a kind of small bodied LP type guitar, because the wood was this size. The Walnut tree grew in Breukelen once and it even has some woodwormholes.

Over the years I bought a lot of nicely figured wood for necks. And not in specialised shops, but from local builder suppliers, and it's a kind of an experiment. The neck wood has been in my shop long enough and it stayed straight enough. Now it's time to make one.
